The basin was too small with the mirror just above, so it was practically impossible to clean one's teeth.
The bed was not comfortable, and I did not see the use of two beds head-to-head in a single occupancy room
fresh bread aafor breakfast
unpleasant staff, stupid place for reception, uncomfortable room,tv-set too small, impossible to watch tv laying in bed, hotel almost like hostel
The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
The room was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen, smaller than NYC or Paris where the costs of living are much higher. I wasn't prepared for something so small. No warning in the website.
Fantastic location, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this particular hotel - would recommend to all.
Good location and breakfast.
Although we booked the economic room we were not expecting for such a tiny room. We could hardly moove and manage bags inside that room.
Excellent location in the old town, historic building with many interesting features-especially the well in the courtyard W.c! Lovely decor, excellent cafe, very relaxed atmosphere.nice shaded courtyard, direct access to two major streets from the hotel.good buffet breackfast with plenty of hot and cold choice.excellent value for money
Could have done with air con as during my stay temperature reached 30 degrees-had to leave window open at night and as my room was on the busier street side the noise was a bit disturbing-but as we were so near the town square noise was to be expected! ( co travellers in lovely courtyard room had no noise)
The location is unbeatable!!! Hotel is small and cozy. Stayed 4 nights at economy room (with bunkbeds). The room and bathroom were small, but sufficient as we didn't spend much time in the room. Window overlooked the courtyard, but it wasn't very noisy (as expected from previous reviews). Mattresses soft and comfy. The bathroom was cleaned, towels changed and the beds done daily, the carpet was vacuumed only once. Good Wi-Fi coverage.
Odd smell in the bathroom (seems the ventilation system wasn't working properly), small breakfast area, had to share the table with other people.
The hotel and its surroundings were idyllic, the rooms are all different and the one we stayed in was lovely.
The hotel did overbook on the high season and the check-in took hours because of lack of staff and the multitude of guests trying to check in at the same time. There wasn't enough rooms, and we got a 2 bed bedroom with an additional bed instead of the 3 person room we had booked.
The location cannot be beaten. Inside the old town and less than 2 minutes walk from the main square. The staff were helpful when asked.Pretty building.
I only had a single room but it was tiny. I found it hard finding some floorspace to put my suitcase! Breakfast was fairly standard in terms of the food (good enough for my purposes) but at busier times it was hard to get a table.
The hotel has been modernised very sympathetically and is situated in the old city. The decor is delightful and the breakfast room was bright and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. There is a cafe serving delicious snacks and pastries and also a pleasant courtyard seating area
The rooms were rather small with very little storage space but as a short stay city break they were reasonably adequate though we did change rooms to acquire at least a couple of shelves for our clothes.
It's location and friendly staff
Breackfast area was a bit small
Proximity to Old Town Square - you're right at the hub of Old Town. Buffet breakfast is very good. Room was comfortable.
Need air conditioning becasue if you leave your window open at night, it is very loud becasue of acitivity on the street. If you close the window, the room gets very warm.
The hotel was very clean and has a really nice authentic atmosphere in the middle of Tallinn. The room windows all open up to the hotel court so you do not have the noise from the streets, which can be very handy in a city full of brawling stag-parties on weekends. The economic rooms are very, very tiny, but how often do you spend the night with your partner in a bunk-bed? And it was a good bed too.
Be aware that economic rooms all have bunk-beds and are extremely tiny. If you stay longer than two nights, this can be quite anoying. Standard rooms offer a nice size room.
It was ideally situated in the old town, so walking to the places of main interest was easy and enjoyable. Excellent for a short break.
